Red Dead Redemption
Red Dead Redemption is a game that is set in 1908 and is about a former outlaw named John Marston. He is sent across the troubled American Frontiers to help bring rule to the law. This game is being described as a western Grand Theft Auto. The game will use open world game play with interactions with surrounding environments and a free-roaming ability. The environments will include frontier towns, prairies, and mountain passes and it will also involve the events leading up to the 1910 Mexican Revolution.
Splinter Cell: Conviction
Coming exclusively to the PC and Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Conviction is the highly anticipated sequel in the multimillion-selling Splinter Cell series and one of the most critically acclaimed Xbox franchises of all time. An investigation into his daughter’s death unwittingly leads former agent Sam Fisher to discover he’s been betrayed by his prior agency, the Third Echelon. Now a renegade, Fisher finds himself in a race against time to thwart a deadly terrorist plot that threatens millions.
Star Wars: The Old Republic
The Galactic Republic stood for generations as a bastion of peace in a galaxy of warring star systems. Protected by its stalwart Jedi guardians, the Republic held the greatest hope for the progress of civilization and galactic unity. Deep in unknown space, however, a mighty Sith Empire was forged, led by dark Sith Lords who dreamt of galactic domination and vengeance against their ancient Jedi enemies. In the years since the treaty, fear and uncertainty have gripped the galaxy, enabling the Sith Emperor to pursue his own mysterious purposes while the Republic has made efforts to rebuild its infrastructure and adjust military priorities to the new galactic landscape. Now, tensions between the Republic and the Empire are running high, and a series of border skirmishes and proxy wars have broken out, even on planets as historically peaceful as Alderaan. The uneasy truce established by the Treaty of Coruscant is quickly tearing apart at the seams, and a return to all-out war has begun in all but official terms. Starcraft 2
StarCraft II continues the epic saga of the Protoss, Terran, and Zerg. These three distinct and powerful races will clash once again in the fast-paced real-time strategy sequel to the legendary original, StarCraft. Super Mario Galaxy 2
Gameplay will be similar to the first Super Mario Galaxy, with a focus on platforming based on and around 3D planets with varying sizes and landscapes. Power-ups such as the Bee Suit will be returning, along with the Launch Star for interplanetary navigation and the Airships operated by Bowser’s son Bowser Jr. The game’s debut trailer also revealed the return of familiar enemies from the series, such as the paragoomba, which were not present in the first game.
