MLG Pro Circuit Anaheim
The fourth event of the Major League Gaming Pro Circuit, located at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California is set to take off this weekend November 6-8. You can see some of the world’s top players competing in games like Halo 3, Gears of War 2, and World of Warcarft. Anaheim will also be the second stop for the EA SPORTS Challenge’s, where players can compete in Madden 10, NBA Live 10, and Fight Night Round 4 against hundreds of other competitors.
The main attraction of all MLG events to date is the Halo series. Anaheim will be no different, with the main competitive game being Halo 3. Will pro halo team Triggers Down be the first team to win back-to-back Halo 3 MLG events? Or, will the newly reformed Instinct with the reuniting team members of Halo 2 pro team 5K and the addition of one of the best players in the game, Neighbor, steal the MLG Pro Circuit throne out from under Triggers Down? And what happened to Str8 Rippin being the next dynasty? All of these questions will be answered this weekend!

Anthony’s Halo 3 Top 8 MLG Anaheim Predictions:
1st Instinct – 5K + Neighbor = 1st place in my book. Don’t disappoint me boys!
2nd Str8 Rippin – Even though it seems Str8 has been under performing and under practiced the last couple events, I really feel they are going to bring it hard this event.
3rd Triggers Down – They are hot off of a big win from Dallas…but will they be able to keep the heat and be the first team in Halo 3 history to win back-to-back MLG events?
4th Carbon – I think this team will cause some big upsets…every team better be ready for them.
5th Classic – There is a lot of talent on this team. I’ve had the chance to LAN with Best Man quite a bit and he is SICK when he goes off. The pick up of Ghost is HUGE… I can see this team causing some major upsets if they all stay on the same page.
6th Final Boss – Strongside and Soviet on the same team…I don’t think that was such a wise choice by FB, but maybe I’m wrong!
7th Believe the Hype – They dropped Soviet, which may or may not have been a good idea. All of these players were members of BtH so as long as the chemistry is still there I see them doing well.
8th Swagger Like Us – Dersky deserves to be in the Top 8 and his new team definitely has the ability to do so as long as they stay on the same page and can make it through the Championship Bracket.
